What will you learn?
This comprehensive Professional Learning & Development Workshop is designed for educators, debate coaches, and adjudicators seeking to enhance their pedagogical and adjudicative expertise in competitive debating contexts.
Facilitated by leading figures in the debating community, the workshop will explore:
advanced coaching methodologies,
effective adjudication practices, and
strategies for fostering critical thinking and persuasive communication among students.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions, case studies, and practical adjudication exercises, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to support and develop the next generation of debaters with confidence and rigour.
Participants will also be invited to watch an NSDC debate, after which, they will be support to apply and test their learning.
