The Student Development Workshop is an engaging program tailored for secondary school students (Years 7–12) who are eager to refine their debating abilities and elevate their competitive performance.
What will you learn?
Led by accomplished debaters and coaches with extensive experience at national and international levels, the workshop will cover key areas such as argument construction, case development, rebuttal techniques, and persuasive speaking. Participants will be grouped according to their experience levels to ensure targeted, age-appropriate instruction.
What does the day look like?
The workshop will include a combination of theoretical sessions, interactive activities, and practice debates, providing students with personalised feedback and practical tools to excel in future debating endeavours.
